The durian taste was very mild and only kicked in after I chewed on the seaweed for a while. Unfortunately, even though the seaweed was very crunchy, it mostly tasted like sweet caramel rather than durian. When I tore it open, I expected to smell the strong pungent scent characteristic of durians, but that wasn’t the case. Inside the bag was ten individually-packed packets of durian seaweed.
